Perfumed Lillium
PL here is the Pom club of NSW breeder page http://www.pomclubnsw.com/australian%20breeders.htm are you specifically after creams? Crouchent do cream with big coats, the teddy bear look. Her Poms hit the ring. There is also 2 cream pups advertised now on dogzonline puppies for sale from a Reg Breeder My dream pom is a Pomquest Pom. They are soooooo beautfil and the breeders are lovely. Hopefully next year :D I have spoken to the breeder that has the 2 cream pom puppies, she was very elusive when I was speaking to her over the phone, I asked her to email me photos of the parents and the pups, she told me she was having problems with her computer and would text me the photos, this was last week, I still haven't received anything; may I add that I rang her yesterday morning and she had little to say, no explanation as to why she hasn't texted me the photos and said she would send me a few within the hour, nothing yet. Very disappointing. Edited August 11, 2012 by Perfumed Lillium
Guest donatella
I'm sorry you're having such a hard time with this. Unfortunately Reg Breeder does not mean good breeder. Creams are quite popular at the moment.

dancinbcs
The dog world is a very small place and every reputable breeder knows who the other reputable ones are all around the country. Ring some of the long time breeders recommended on here and if they don't have any puppies available or due, ask them about the breeder you have already contacted and for a list of other breeders to try. I know in my breed we refer pet buyers to other breeders all the time to make sure they go to good ones, not just registered ones. If someone asks about a breeder we know is shonky we can simply say "I have never heard anything good said about them" or "I know nothing about them", without lying or running them down but making it clear that they are not part of the group of dedicated, reputable breeders who have good reputations. BTW, Poms like most toy breeds, are prone to luxating patella so make sure when you get your puppy, that you have it checked by a good vet who is experienced with toy breeds. Preferably one who has lots of breeder clients.

Puppoochi
PL, You're in Victoria, one of the best Pom breeders in Victoria is Denise of Dochlaghie in Melbourne. Her Poms kill it in the show ring, she breeds to standard, beautiful tiny full coated babies. If you want a Pom true to standard with a breeder of over 35 years experience talk to her. She rarely advertises as she is so popular people approach her http://www.pomeranian.net/pom/ Yep, if you want a nice Pom, and she's a lovely lady as well. Mrs Rusty Bucket
Why does this make me think of "the Shire" ep that I didn't watch last week. Why a pom? why not a gorgeous pappillion or schipperke. Personally, if I wasn't getting my dog from the rescue orgs, I'd be going to breed clubs and breed shows as a starting point. This breed appeals to the OP- a pap or schip may not have the temperament the OP is after... Well done on doing a thorough job researching your future companion. I wish you the best of luck!! Mrs Rusty Bucket
I do like poms, apart from one icky episode where a friend's pom needed crutching... and he wouldn't do it. Blech. But that was more an owner specific thing, not a breed specific. I liked the dog though. I was just checking about the breed choice. Is interesting that wikipedia (which may or may not be reliable) says that a shipperke is similar to a spitz - specifically japanese spitz... So it might be a breed worth considering.
