Bartok
Hi Everyone Myself along with another rescue friend have done our microchippng course. We have to have all our paperwork about to TAFE by 16th August to be marked and sent to the DLG in order for us to get our implanters license. The course wasnt cheap and it is quite hard to get the minimal amount of numbers in our allocated time. I require 3 more either cats or dogs and they have to be done under vet supervision My friend requires 13more. Is there anyone with any cat or dog litters or any adult dogs or cats that are due to be microchipped and happy to let us do them? Also you vet would have to agree to this also. The only way to get experience is for us to chip - we are both Western Sydney based but would be happy to drive within an hour or so of home to get them done
tdierikx
Fairford Rd Vet Clinic is also the Canterbury pound... they may have some cats or dogs you could chip for them... If you supply your own chips, some places are more amenable to helping you out. Belmore Vet clinic on Kingsgrove Rd are also a pound. T.

efowler
Hi Bartok, I recently did the course through AWL and had to chip 15. We found some through our rescue. But otherwise I put some posts on Facebook pet sites in the area and offered a free microchip. We had an arrangement with our vet that they would supervise and we just pay cost of chip. That's rescue rates of course. We had lots of takers when offered free microchipping lol
