C3 - Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvovirus

C4 - The above plus one strain of Kennel Cough (parainfluenza, the viral strain)

C5 - the above plus two strains of Kennel Cough (parainfluenza and Bordatella Br. (which is the bacterial strain).

You cannot board a dog unless it has a C5. C4 is not enough.

Kennel Cough is not a deadly disease and the vaccine is not 100%. But it can reduce the chances of infection and also the severity if infected.

Perhaps give your vet a call and ask them to explain the differences to you and what they now recommend in your circumstances :)

thnkyou guys

I dont board my guy. They have never been in kennels at all.

When I was talking to the vet they were saying that they werent doing the C4 at all.

The vet was saying about doing the C3 and than using the nasal kenel cough.

Looks like it might have to be the C5

thank you guys for your help
