Eric - medium xbreed male and Gypsy - heeler x female. Both are around 1.5 years or less old. They are both full vetworked and desperately looking for new homes or foster carers/rescue. Details are below for each of them. If you can help please contact me asap on 0401 347 058. Andrea. Edited October 15, 2012 by Just Andrea
Just Andrea
Eric is an affectionate 1.5 year old medium sized boy desperately seeking a new home. He is a gentle soul who being in the company of friends, both human and canine. He adores people and seeks out attention whenever he can, particularly if he thinks there might be a cuddle or a belly rub on offer. Eric has basic obedience, walks well on a lead, sits nicely for his food, shakes hands, rolls over, etc, is toilet trained and is very well behaved indoors.Eric prefers to be outside during the day where he can explore and soak up the sun, but prefers to sleep inside at night on his rug.He is fine with other dogs, playing and socialising nicely with all he meets. While he would make a good doggy playmate, Eric is likely to be fine on his own provided he is given regular daily exercise and included as part of the family. He is very loving and eager to please and will make an exceptional canine companion for a lucky family. Just Andrea
Gypsy is an affectionate 1.5 year old heeler x female who is desperately seeking a new home. She enjoys nothing better than following her people around and getting pats and tickles when she can. She appears house-trained and behaves quite nicely inside, is generally not destructive or a nuisance barker and walks quite well on lead. She is incredibly smart, agile and full of exuberance for life and could possibly be a candidate for agility if her adoptive family were interested in dog sports. She would do well in an active home willing to continue her training, provide her will regular daily exercise and include her as part of the family. She generally gets along well with other dogs but would be happiest in a home of her own where her special family can spoil her rotten. Just Andrea
Eric needs rehoming because he has found he can now climb, jump or go through his current owners homes fences. There was a rabbit next door and my gut feeling is this has sparked the whole thing . We know he cannot get over 6 foot colourbond - fence replacement is not an option for his current owner though. Gypsy is also in a similar predicament. There is a cat next door and recently she got over the fence and chased the next door neighbours cat and little dog inside. She is getting over now consistently despite modifications also. She is high energy and is getting plenty of exercise as far as I have been informed but perhaps not enough mental stimulation. She is very agile and alert and possibly would be good for agility or even a worker (nb this is not a qualiifed opinion - this would need to be investigated further by suitably qualified/exerperienced people). In both cases, living in a property away from furry temptations (no chooks, cats, rabbits) etc is possibly an option because neither does it to take off, more just the challenge and fun of it and both like hanging out with people. 6 foot colourbond is also an option for suburbia also. Both are house-trained, dog social, have some training and are fully vetworked. If you would like to know more or can help anyway, please contact me asap. I would like to avoid either dog going into DAS and on an urgent DAS thread in the near future if I can thanks.

Just Andrea
Gypsy is now staying with her owner after some extra effort/adjustment. Hopefully it continues to go well. Thanks to all who tried to help them both. Happy ending.
