courtney010
Hi I adopted my dog chewy from the RSPCA a year ago and they had him as an Irish wolfhound, but he is only 71cm tall fully grown, any ideas of what other breed you think he could have in him? Below is the link to his original adoption photo Chewy Edited July 31, 2012 by courtney010

Clyde
He is gorgeous but no Wolfhound in sight I'm afraid. Looks to be a bull breed mix blended perhaps with a couple of other breeds, lovely looking boy :)
Zug Zug
Who knows?! Bit of bully, bit of greyhound perhaps? Lucky dog. Nothing like a Irish wolfhound

courtney010
Thanks, its weird alot of people in the street ask if he is an irish wolfhound, maybe its his scruffy coat that makes them think that?
fifi
might have come from hunting / pigging type mix of bull breed / dane and a sighthound mix. The wolfhound/deerhound coat can come out many X-breedings later, we have lots around here that are Bullmastiff X wolfhound x dane x whatever, and they have some of the coarsest coats to die for !!! Your boy hasn't any immediate wolfhound that I can see, just your loved X-bred :D fifi
