..pups can have bones as soon as they have teeth :p

Your pup will probably love a semi frozen, whole chicken wing ... frozen so he doesn't gulp it..but chews and chews to get his meal. .

being smallish, he may also enjoy beef brisket bones , and also lamb shanks ....

Chicken and other softer bones are great, as they can be totally chewed and digested to provide calcium . BIG meaty bones for little mouths are also great for cleaning back teeth , and providing lots of chewing to release all those lovely endorphins :)

As mentioned, as soon as they have teeth (puppies can be given bones right from weaning, though they may not be eating them totally at first).

I have an 11 week old Pyrenean pup here at the moment who eats chicken necks and wings with no issue and also chicken frames (the ribcages mostly) though is a bit slower with those. She also gets beef brisket bones and roo tails to chew on during the day and as we speak is having fun eating a piece of a lamb flap.

Thanks for all that.I have a lamb shank in fridge and just wanted to check that it would be ok for her.She is such a little scrap and previously we have had lovely large Labs so she seems particularly small .
