Lollipup
My new Nikon D7000 arrived today and wow do I have a lot to learn but I love it already! I put on the 50mm f1.4 and took a few quick snaps before I have to go out. I adjusted them a bit in lightroom too which is also something I am still learning. They need work but wow I never would have been able to take photos like this with my standard camera! by the way, whats the best way of sharing photos? I quickly signed up for Redbubble but not sure if its the best one to use? Edited July 18, 2012 by Lollipup
huga
Very good :) I use Flickr (as do a lot of others). Enjoy your camera :D
tlc
Nice shots, love the bokeh in the first shot! I use photobucket to post pics here.
Lollipup
Can you upload multiples easily in flickr? Because I couldn't see where to do that on redbubble. I think I actually have a flickr account somewhere already from way back Thanks for the comments on the photos :)

piper
Love the bokeh and depth of field in your first shot :) And the depth of field and focus on the first husky is lovely too. I would say though to try and watch the ears, the tip of the ears missing detracts from them IMO. The pictures are not in tight enough that it looks like you have deliberately cropped them out. For your first day you have got some great shots. You are clearly going to have a lot of fun with your new toy :)
tlc
Looks like you have got the hang of it already. what setting are you using? auto, P, S, A or M? Don't be scared to have a play. All the shots are lovely and clear.
Lollipup
Last one, Tojo the GSD. These were harder because it had gotten dark DSC_0243 DSC_0244 DSC_0245 DSC_0246 DSC_0248 DSC_0252 DSC_0255 DSC_0256 DSC_0258 DSC_0273

All the shots are lovely and clear. Some are on auto and the rest are on A setting :) I really need to learn more about how to work it though. Most the day time ones are on A setting but I couldn't get them clear at night unless I just used auto
Lollipup
Nice, did you use the flash for the last lot? I'm pretty sure I did lol. They were the most difficult ones.
Lollipup
I also noticed the camera was a lot slower in the dark, and when it used flash. Anything I can do for this?
Lollipup
That husky Bischa is the most difficult dog to take photos of, no wonder I cropped her ears off! She wouldn't move far enough away. But when I saw her on Monday I was taking photos with my phone and she would turn away every time - what a difference this camera and lens makes!! :D
Kirislin
Well done! I agree about the ear tips. The colours (and your processing) are just lovely on that camera.
