gapvic
After struggling with a crappy tripod for months, I recently bought a lovely brand new one. My new toy is a Slik PRO 700DX and it's fabulous! Not light, but after reading horror stories about tripods blowing over in a gust of wind I opted for a heavier brand. I'm very happy :D
tlc
It sounds good, I'll have to google it and check it out. I'm still using a tripod I got years ago off eBay, which I love, it's not light either but I agree about them blowing over easily. I had a look, it looks great, mine looks like a dinosaur compared to that one. Edited July 14, 2012 by tlc

Kirislin
I get very confused with tripods, all the different models and ways of attaching to camera or lens. I think I'd have a use for one but it's all in the too hard basket right now.
