Rescued With Love (vic) Shortlisted To Win Council Grant

Rescued with Love have been shortlisted for a Leader Local Grant (that's Leader Local, as in the Leader local newspapers). These $1,000 grants are awarded to community projects etc, and anyone in Vic is eligible to vote for shortlisted projects.

I'm a huge supporter of RWL and aim to start fostering with them as soon as I move into my new house (a few weeks!). I hope this kind of thread is allowed - it's not of a commercial nature, as RWL are a registered charity and a well run and wellr espected rescue group. I'm just hoping it's ok to encourage people to vote for them, as they're truly deserving of this award and would do great things with the money if they won.

RWL take on mostly small dogs, many are seniors (though by no means all, they have recently had some puppies) and in need of health care. They do lots of dentals, luxating patella surgery, sometimes tumor removal .. the usual suspects for small and/or dogs.

To vote for RWL, do the following:

1. Go to www.leaderlocalgrants.com.au

2. Register

3. They will send you an email with a link to set a password

4. Click on link and set yourself a password

5. Click Save

6. Go to Current Ideas

7. Search for 'Rescued with Love' - there's a picture of a little black and white dog (her name was Cricket).

8. You can add up to 10 votes. (I did!)
