I will miss him, very much. Its been four months now. Anyway, He has one more Veterinary visit on Thurday for his final check-up. The outcome of the arthrodesis is more than I expected, so I'm very happy with the results. I would thoroughly recommend to any people who may be considering the options. Budget for around $6000 or use insurance. Dr. was concerned about some lameness and collected a bone sample for a bacterial biopsy. 4-6 weeks antibiotics if infected. (L) shoulder muscle has atrophied very significantly and puppy needs extensive, doggy type physio. Anyway, a thoroughly enjoyable venture. Anyway, complaining won't help. The good should eventually outweigh the bad, at least I hope so. Puppy is home now, and not happy about it apparently. So, Ive planned a visit for the new year. My thoughts exactly. The owner, Zuess's mum, not my missus seems to have things in hand. Meds, Vet. and payments are being overseen by VSS Carrara, Q. Just seems such a shame when he looked so well leaving your place, post surgery infection was always my greatest fear with Issy.I guess if they have to cut bone or near bone there is always a risk no matter how careful the vet.
