The latest version of electric fence seems to be GPS controlled, hence requires no buried wires, and you can take it with you when you move, or go to a friend's place, or whatever. Unlike conventional e-fence, it lets you set up a warning zone within the boundary. Also works as an e-collar for training, and apparently, allows you to track your dog's whereabouts within a one mile radius.

Sounds like a neat gadget that will probably be banned in many parts of Australia. Has anyone seen one in action?
