Her Majesty Dogmad
I rescued a tiny 12 yr old dog from the pound in March. She was yelping at different times so took her to my rescue vet who diagnosed arthritis and recommended a course of 4 Zydax injections. The results were amazing, after 2 weeks no more yelping (she was energetic and ran around but with the odd yelp). Anyhow, I rehomed her to a wonderful mature couple and have reocmmended that they consider repeating it next year if any signs come back. It was about $135 for the course. A dog I fosterd for PAWS 2 yrs ago had recently become unwell in her new home and had been to 2 vets over 5 weeks and no clear diagnosis. Her owner thought she was dying but blood tests showed nothing. She had xrays at the PAWS vet which showed her hips were not good so she has started a course of Zydax injections and I saw her this week after the 2nd injection and she's back to her old self - incredible!
