Ohhhhh...arn't they lovely. But I fear my young bloke would eat his too. My girl would be fine, but she likes to snuggle up in her crate. They would be good though to have in the lounge room for them to use instead of the lounge. :)

They look nice but my lot would prefer their beds they already have.

If they had these, they'd need padded bits on the tops of the wooden sides. They love to hang their heads over the edge, but it needs to be soft. :)

Good lukc with your search.

Thanks guys, I have a friend who has one and had it for years and just found out today its from this same guy, he goes to the markets around melbourne area. Hers is still like brand new. Like Sir WJs my big boy hangs his head off the side of his bed now so not sure he would make the transition. My OH thinks they will make the bedroom look tidier instead of the mattress beds all over the floor. Bronson sleeps in his crate so we would still need 3. I also love the food dishes in the wooden surrounds too they look so nice.

Do you guys think the price is ok? I thought it was quite reasonable, I wouldn't get the mattress just the wooden box bit, I thought $150 for medium in the classic range was pretty good. By the time you bought the wood and the stain and lacquer and the time that goes into it. They have a Facebook page, I liked it and the man who owns the business sent me a message and added me as a friend, i asked him if he would do a discount if i bought 3 and he said he would and he would even meet me half way for delivery, he sounds like a lovely bloke. Now I just need to save the $ Thats always the hard part!

They look great, and they're not as pricey as I'd thought they'd be either ! I've not seen anything like them before.

Fleming would be quite at home in one of those as his own bed with a big fluffy cushion in it, but Tess gets the sooks on if she can't sleep in the bed with me... spoilt brat !

Yeah now that I've seen that pink one (and some of the others on their website) everything else looks so boring!

But imagine if you got (or made) a gorgeous bed like that for your dog, and then when you weren't looking they chewed it.

Mind you, my puppy Pasha has done so much chewing in our backyard of late, we are running out of flower pots and all our folding chairs are going in the skip next weekend (what's left of them)

Not replacing anything yet. No point. Will wait until this lovely 'phase' is over.

His lovely glamorous wooden bed will need to come later in life as well. He can't be trusted just yet!

Yep, Mine weren't huge chewers but they did do a bit of damage as pups, and I waited till they had all grown out of that stage before replacing anything.

  • 1 month later...

Has anyone got one of these dog beds or similar?

Anyone know of any other makers of wooden beds in Australia. Id love to get my guys one of these or something like it each. I think the price isn't too bad.

Thanks for any info.

wow they are nice. i actually like them better with the custom finish. ive sent off an email asking how much postage would be to perth, and if they think the bed would hold the weight of my two dogs.
