C & C On Hdr Landscape

I LOVE good HDR and found the perfect subject, a fruit store at Woodside. I shot between showers as I wanted the freshness of the air and wet road to set off the building. I think I'll redo and lighten a bit as the print was a bit dark and I still didn't get the horizon right. Be super critical!

Not the hugest fan of HDR I'm afraid, and the first thing I noticed was the halo round the trees and the giant apple (?).

It's an interesting subject though, and I'd like to see perhaps a closer shot of the right hand side of the shop :)

You did say super critical :o

Super critical makes things improve :D The sky was a bit of a hard one because it did have different amounts of grey cloud behind the trees and I was a bit reluctant to mess with that. But I'll go in on closer view and see if I can sort any haloing with some burning. You get so focused on some things you forget to check others  I also have to remember that I don't have full frame and need to zoom out more as I lost the features on the left. I do have some close ups of the right side shop, might play around with those on the weekend and post them.

I find the little aplle (?) thing on the bottom left distracting. Could you crop or clone him?

ETA I can't really see a halo - just different patches of cloud in the sky.

The little sign on the left really annoys me too, I had it in the viewfinder but cut off due to lack of full frame. Next rainy day I'll head back to see if I can repeat it. I didn't have haloing jump out at me but thought it might be just not visible on this monitor. It was a patchy sky so I know some of what may look like haloing is just that, but I'll look at it closely to check.
