Siberian husky not that i,m worried as that are putting on about 30grms to 40grms each a day .for instance my smallest pup weighed 440grm at birth born the 29th now i don't have anything weighing less than600grms. Siberian husky not that i,m worried as that are putting on about 30grms to 40grms each a day .for instance my smallest pup weighed 440grm at birth born the 29th now i don't have anything weighing less than600grms. 440gms is a largish size for a BC and I would expect a puppy that size to put on about 50gms a day but sometimes they are bit slower on the first couple of days. How they continue to gain depends on how many are in the litter. If there are 8 puppies they will probably continue to gain about 50gms a day but if there are only two or three, by the second week they can gain up to 100gms a day. Most puppies don't gain the same amount every day, it flutuates so don't panic if some days they gain a bit less and others more. They should double their birth weight in 7-10 days.
