melzawelza
Hi all, Hoping you can shed some light on whether this is something that needs further investigation. I've noticed that probably over the last 3-4 weeks, Cocoa's jaw on (I think) her left side is clicking (popping sound) quite loudly every time she yawns. It doesn't seem to hurt her or bother her, but I'm noticing it and never did before so I'm assuming it's something new. No idea if it's related or not or even something worth asking about but I also noticed today that I could feel the glands in her neck quite easily. I have no idea if this is new or I've just only noticed it now. She's a 17 month old Amstaff/Pit Bull type dog (probably not pure, from the pound), so therefore has a short coat so it's easy to feel these things. Should I be able to feel her glands? melzawelza
Bump Anyone got any advice?
raffikki
I can only feel my amstaff's glands if I use a fair bit of pressure, and a bit of feeling around. Personally I would get the vet to check.....swollen glands, I think, can mean infection.
melzawelza
Thanks for the reply, I can actually see the big bumps when I'm looking at her, so I think a vet visit is in order. Bit of a worry really Edited May 31, 2012 by melzawelza
