Sir Sniffalot Posted May 27, 2012 Share Posted May 27, 2012 Friday night as we were leaving for our pups first show she took a mad dive and landed with an almighty bang, xrays showed she has broken all 4 toes at the very top. She is home with a splint but we are wondering / wanting advice on our next move, the vet is cautious about putting pins in such a small pup (min pin) but without pins he says he's 90% sure it won't heal straight. Sir Sniffalot Posted May 27, 2012 Author Share Posted May 27, 2012 Thanks, it's all four metacarpal bones that are broken and l think he said they were misplaced (had moved), l'm not sure if it's because we are from a small country town but our vet is happy to splint and that's that.
