luvsdogs
From all the emails I received on the yahoo group it was a fantastic night with lots of quallies & much fun had by all. Well done to the organisers & competitors & their dogs.
Schatzi'sMum
We had a pretty good weekend. We were far from our best with the heat and a lot of travel so Schatzi was very flat. Despite that we still managed three quallies, we got out HTM.N title and our first pass in Intermediate Freestyle :) I do look forward to our Freestyle routine actually working as I intended it, had to do some improvising to make up for Schatzi refusing to do the main trick that brought the concept of the routine together. Tassie
Well done on the title and the Intermediate pass. Sounds like it was a great weekend - and Schatzi and you did well in spite of the travel and new surroundings etc. :D

I have ideas but that is all at the moment I have a new routine for Styler Novice Freestyle routine on paper, just need to put more work into Styler so he is more accurate with his cues. Tassie
:D On the list for the summer holidays - but a little way down the list. I am soooo very uncreative - But I might just do some playing with teaching/polishing some more moves, and hope inspiration strikes  . Well Tassie, bring that further up the list of the must do for the summer hols.. would love to see you over here for the next round of DWD comps. You might even get to see me with the youngster (now that is a scary thought) in HTM starters.. or Freestyle. Not sure what we are doing with Tux as of yet. He is coming along nicely, except that age is starting to catch up with him a bit more.
Tassie
 kallistar ... it's a long list . Working on Open ob, and possibly working on some agility - depends on a friend's availability. And of course trying to catch up on a year's not done jobs around the house and jungle. At least it's really dry here, so the grass has pretty much stopped in its tracks - the downside is more watering. Never a dull moment. But seriously, I do hope to get over there again next year - but not necessarily for DWD. You're going to have fun with your youngster, and Tux will enjoy 'working' anyway. Oh yeah, get that last CCD pass on young madam and then onto DWD. Her routine keeps changing LOL cause she keeps putting a different spin on a move, and I generally go YES like that one. But do you think that she will do it again the next day? Was over the moon as she picked up a sock and brought it to me yesterday :D which will be handy for part of her freestyle routine. Might even try to get her to pick up a crumbled bit of paper which would be even better. Maybe getting a puppy might change all that though. And you must come over for a DWD comp.. especially if there is an obed/rally/agility trial the day before. I haven't heard if Ballarat is having their DWD comp again Finding the right music for Tux will be interesting. Would love to change it to an Enya song, but while it would be perfect, I think that we'd be told that it is too slow.
Tassie
I would have thought slow was OK with an older dog. Unless you just can't get enough moves in, I suppose.
