hortfurball
Thanks everyone, I'm over the moon. Have been reading everything I can about danes for years and am so happy to have this gorgeous boy in my life. He also doesn't counter surf, and is not a big drooler! (except when excited or exercising) :)
raineth
oh that's such awesome news Horts! He is such a beautiful boy and looks so at home already and his name is fabulous! Did you change it or was it his original name?

Did you change it or was it his original name? It was his original name. We actually thought about changing it (imagine calling his name loudly in a park and you get the idea) but it's grown on us so it stays. It's a traditional German name (derivative of Rudolph meaning: famous wolf) so perfect for a German breed (it also makes me think of The Sound Of Music, LOL! I tend to hum "I am 16 going on 17" a lot these days  )

Yes, I can no longer use ROFL on Facebook without someone telling me I've made a spelling mistake. I'm learning to use LMAO instead. hortfurball
Thanks everyone :) Have some lovely photos from the Million Paws Walk today (photos courtesy of Jo Wild Photography) He has been well socialised and is bomb proof with other dogs... This one's just a crack up! I love this big goofy face Before you say anything, yes he is too skinny. He was approximately 10 kilos underweight when I got him 2 weeks ago - 2 down, 8 to go Rolf with Ella. They were both thirsty after the long walk, I didn't get much of my water :) Rolf with chihuahua - I saw a group of chis going past and asked if they were up for a few pics :) Thanks Jo Wild Photography for the awesome photos! :)

hortfurball
He is absolutely gorgeous. I love the goofy face photo, and the one with the Chi. Thanks Trinabean :) Were you there today? I saw some gorgeous boxers, seemingly all babies for some reason, between 6 and 12 months. I said to one owner "What a gorgeous little boxer pup!" and they laughed and said it was the first time they'd heard her called 'little'. Everything's relative.

Bruno gets a bit over-excited when there are lots of other dogs, and tries to play with everyone. It's an art-form keeping him focused at obedience training (about 15 dogs there) so I think the Million Paws walk would push him over the edge! I would have loved to have seen all the diverse breeds there though...
