Happened around 6:30 this evening (Wednesday) on Belmore Road in Randwick, NSW. It looked like the owner had dropped the leash somehow, not too sure what happened. I only realised when I saw a man in a suit(not the owner) sprinting down the road (other side of the road to me) as he tried to catch the dog before it ran onto the road. Didn't get it in time sadly but he still ran out into traffic anyway and got him before he got hit again. Not 100% sure the dog was hit as it was barking a lot but not an in pain bark if you know what I mean, but it didn't seem able to stand up. I'd really like to know if the dog is ok?
