Wow! How Prices Have Come Down

I found an old ad from Teds camera store from 2007. they were selling the Canon 400D with twin lens kit for $1549.95 telling us that we're getting $50 off!!!! woo hoo. Just for fun I looked today, couldn't find anything similar at Teds but Harvey norman are selling the 550D with twin lens kit for $948.

A little internet competition is good for the soul :) As is more competition for bodies.

Unfortunately, almost all lenses have gone up over the last few years. I look at the prices now for the lenses I already own and am so happy I bought when I did (especially since I bought a ton of them when Canon was still doing fabulous rebates)!!
