Boxer05
Just some info for people feeding dry dog food made by Diamond. They have issued a recall is the States due to possible salmonella contamination: http://diamondpetrecall.com/ Diamond make a fair number of brands. The page has a link to each food and the product codes which have been recalled. It appears that most of the food was distributed in the states but it might be worth while checking your own. BC Crazy
Oh dear ! I am using on the brands that has been recalled but as I keep my dry food in a container I have thrown away the original bag. Going to swap right now, not worth the risk. Thanks for the heads up. Edited May 8, 2012 by BC Crazy

It's some information that I thought people that feed the food might be interested in. It states that the food was mainly distributed to certain states in America. Who is to say that it wasn't shipped from ports in those areas to other places in the world? Edited May 8, 2012 by Boxer05

Guest lavendergirl
Thanks for posting this information. I think a lot of people feed Taste of the Wild. Lets hope the Australian distributors check their stock.

BC Crazy
Yes, that is what I have read too. I actually contacted Natural Pet Store about this & they said that the outlet that produces the questionanble product is in Carolina & the distributer for Aus. product is in Nth California. Once again, Natural Pet Store were very helpful & quick to put my mind at ease. Edited May 10, 2012 by BC Crazy
