gsdog2
I love obedience and I love training it and watching it as a spectator. I think as with anything you do with your dog it's what you make it. Agility is cool but I've never been passionate about it like I am with obedience, to each their own Another Obedience fan here ........ the dog needs to be keen and enjoy the process and I suppose that's the case with all dog sports. sheena
You still could do heel work to music. Nothing stopping you sheena. Lots of people are "self-taught". The internet is a great tool for helping track down training information and its just about having fun with your dog in the end. Yeah...she is self taught & loves it, but it would be nice to be able to train with other people & dogs. Ours dogs are largely "self-taught" everything because of our demographics, but we do make the two hour trip every Monday night for Agility training, when it's not washed out. :) Thanks Ness
