I have seen on You tube a trainer taking a gorgoeus dog with aggression problems to a well adjusted playful animal on "buffalodogtraining" does anyone know if there is a trainer in Perth WA like this?

Could you summarise what this trainers approach/ methodology is so we could better answer your question? I for one don't have a great net connection so watching youtube videos is a PITA.

Are you north or south and what breed of dog do you have?

I have a GSD and I havent thought about dog shrinks ?? Are they worth trying ? Im NOR...

In the video the dog is placed in a room with very stable dogs and is gradually taught not not react to every dog he sees. Better if you watch it though

Kathy Kopellis McLeod lists "reactive rover" classes on her website, which sounds like the sort of thing you are after. I haven't been to her but she comes highly recommended by others on this forum.

How old is your dog and what behaviour is it exhibiting?

3 years oldish and has been attacked a few times and now reacts to almost all dogs

They run a two week "boot camp" for dogs but all that they really show is putting the dog in with their stable dogs, working on basic obedience in the presence of another dog and walking the dog through the neighbourhood getting it to ignore dogs that are in their yards barking at it. This can't be all there is to a two week intensive program so it does make me wonder what else is done that we don't see

Can't say for sure, but that was probably all they did. Good quality socialisation and training goes a long way.
