We are seeking to establish a Southern Region Gundog Club and it is anticipated that we would run at least one show a year, possibly in conjunction with DogsNSW Southern Region in June/July. Ceilidh Posted April 30, 2012 Share Posted April 30, 2012 Woodys at this stage it is a twinkle in our eyes! We need 30 DogsNSW members or associate members who are resident in the Southern Region of NSW to start the club, over and above that members can come from anywhere. The idea is to hold one or two shows possibly in conjunction with the DogsNSW Southern Region Country Classic in June/July. Some thoughts are that there may be sweeps, veterans, brace, breeders teams etc to make it a fun weekend. If it comes to fruition then you could have 4 shows in 2 days or 5 shows in 3 days, depending on how many days Southern Region has. At the moment the Southern Region Hound Club hold two shows on this weekend and another breed club is looking at holding their shows on this weekend too. So if we add a Gundog club this could grow into an even more fabulous weekend. We do people to email their interest so we can gauge when/if we can hold a meeting to start the club. Joan of Arc Posted May 1, 2012 Author Share Posted May 1, 2012 Hi guys What we are really looking at is something for DogsNSW Southern Region... so the Riverina area and perhaps along the border.... We thought we might be able to kick start something and run it at the same time as the Sthn Region shows in June / July because the gundog group is very strong here but we cant always travel to Wolongong...
