SparkyTansy
It's such a shame so many peoples opinions are generated by one or two poorly behaved examples of that breed. there are no breeds out there that are "bad" otherwise people woudln't have them. The "bad" examples are often an unfortunate result of poor breeding, poor socialisation/upbringing and/or poor ownership. Still... I'm sure most people know that! persephone
Least favourite: spoilt brat little dogs who bite! That's not a breed :p I have no breed I like over the other . I have seen dogs of most breeds with temperaments I didn't like ..and I have fallen in love with dogs from breeds I had never considered to be amongst ones I needed to meet . AussieDog
I love all most all dogs except i have a deep hatred of Japenese Spitzs'. My sister used to have one and it was the worst dog.

persephone
:) If I formed a dislike about a breed after a bite ,,it'd be quite a list! Deep Hatred? What did the Jap. Spitz DO to you ???? It must have been very aggro/destructive/noisy/anti social /disobedient at least ....

Not sure why, but after a while I really hated it and still hate the breed to date. There are no other doggies, good, bad, big, small or ugly that i dislike as much as the Jap Spitz. MishB
My all time favorite breed is the GSD, then Brittany, both smart, trainable, energetic dogs. I do prefer the shepherd though mainly because of the protection element, I like a dog that I feel has my back, my Brittany is way too cute to deter a would be robber! I do also like beagles, boxers, malamutes, labrador puppies, the scottie dog on the old chum ad, ACDs, kelpies, bernese, the list is pretty endless :) Actually I am finding it hard to stop thinking up other breeds I could list as a favorite! My list of least favorites are chinese crested, Ive never actually met one & they are probably lovely but I like dogs with lots of fur to cuddle. Also not keen on the bull breeds like pits, am staffs, mastiff x's although I can appreciate that lots of other ppl love them, just not my cup of tea. Im not keen on the pekinese, papillon or chi types of little dogs because I am so scared I would step on them and break them.Im not partial to a lot of the pound dogs either only because of some of their strange looks, I know there are some of the best dogs in there, very superficial of me I know
laneka
Rottweiler is my fave and has been for nearly 40 years. Hard to say my least fave, probably any dog who is not well mannered and socialised.
BonJosie
I love cheeky, silly, funny dogs like beagles, boxers and french bulldogs. Following closely behind are big placid dogs like Danes and greyhounds. I'm generally not a fan of bull breeds and terriers. That said, we just adopted a sweet, funny, bold little Scottish Terrier X, so if anyone knows there is an exception to any rule, it's me!
Merrirose
Fav is Whippets. Least fav is Staffies as they make way too many snuffling, snorting, snoring noises and can also manage to sound like a dolphin being strangled on occasion too. Lovely bright happy dogs though. ETA: Husky/Malamutes are close to least fav too. STUNNING and would love one though I could never ever ever deal with that much shedding. I would have to buy it a vacuum lock suite or something lol.
