Mrs Rusty Bucket
My guess is Tri coloured BC x Lab Cavaliers also come in that black and tan colour so maybe Cav x Lab. Personally I don't see the Rotti but who knows. I think the ears look a little bit spaniel to me as well. Very nice happy looking bitsa.

luvsdogs
He actually looks like a small and less coated Bernese Mountain Dog, but that's one of those suggestions that was discussed in that 'breed misidentificaiton' thread  That's what I was thinking, & part of his coat looks clipped off. He has such a beautiful, happy face. Thank you for rescuing him & welcome to DOL.
Ons
he made me smile, what an absolute sweetheart. I thought bernese mountain dog x at first too but I think they were too rare 9 years ago to people cross breeding with them? Not sure. But I would think a bit of golden retreiver, a splash of kelpie, some more of this and a a little extra of that = one gorgeous fellow :)
Red Fox
Retriever x Kelpie/BC would be my guess.
GoldenGirl85
How big is he?
tdierikx
Could be BC/Kelpie too... I've seen some heavy set BC's around. I'm not seeing Rotti apart from the colouring, but everything else suggests not Rotti. I think he's actually one of those very rare and highly sought after "Cuddlehounds" myself... I'm loving his name... Hamilton definitely suits him! T.

Showpony
I'd guess rottie x aussie shepherd.... What about Bernese Mountain Dog cross......I only say that due to the black and tan colour Edited April 23, 2012 by Showpony
