kitkatswing
We are heading to Perth on Wednesday for a week of Swing Dancing and socialising. (Yay!!!). Our usual dogsitters (the in laws) are away Grey-Nomading... So we have my husbands cousin coming to look after the house and Maui. I trust her 100% with both. Every day our neighbor will be popping over and taking Maui to his place (so he can play with his dog, his best mate).. So he wont be alone every day when shes at work. But Im going to miss the little booger, I know he will be fine.. I am still gona miss him .

Kadbury
Have a great holiday and if I was you I would be sooooo happy with leaving "The Little Booger" with all that care and attention he will be getting. I know you will miss him BUT he will be spoilt rotten by the sounds of it :)

Bundyburger
I'm going away for a week and leaving the dog/s at home with my OH and I'm having enough trouble with that I'm sure he'll be just fine, and you'll get home and wonder what you were worried about! kitkatswing
Oh I know he will be fine, I have lots of new toys and treats for my cousin-in-law to give him, he will think its wonderful!!.. Plus he gets to go next door to play every day for a couple of hours. He will be in doggy heaven. Thankfully I will be too busy dancing and catching up with friends. But yeah, im just being a sook :)
RiverStar-Aura
It's funny how we miss them so much more than they'd miss us!! I feel bad when I leave for work each morning as my two sit at the side gate and watch me drive off. I do so love the welcome home though!! Simply Grand
I know how you feel, I hadn't quite realised how much I love having my dogs around until last week. I stayed at a friend's house for ONE night (first night I've been away since getting Riley and Quinn) and I found I couldn't fall asleep without doggy cuddles! voloclydes
But my dogs do miss me! They leap around stupid even if I walk behind the shed out of sight or I go on holiday for 3 months. Insert rolly on the floor smiley, the phone won't let me add one. But it's so true, 5 min or 5 months it all the same...... kitkatswing
We gave Maui a bath on Sunday so he would be a bit cleaner for when we are away...... I jinxed it by saying he iwll get dirty on his run/walk yesterday.... Sure enough, around 11:30 I get the following photo sent to my phone.. hehhe, so he got another bath yesterday :) My cousin-in-law is coming over tonight and staying for the rest of the time, I know he will be well looked after. I must admit it will be nice to get away from this cold snap!!
GregW
At times when we use a boarding kennel, Zoe doesn't even look back to wonder why I am not going with her, too exited she will have a room mate for next week or so.

voloclydes
yeap, people.... the spots give a whole new meaning to exciotment.... you know what, now days with sophie.... knowing how shy and badly treated she was 2 years ago... to see her miss you even tho you only went inside for 10min, is sweet. i don't even bother to make her get calm before i pat her.... its take so long for her to show emotions, like affection and seek out humans for friends... i am fine with dirty paws and exciotment. now i have learnt youtube i might show you how far she has come...its gob smacking....
