tdierikx
They only want dogs who are deaf or blind, or both... that rules out my naughty Pickles who "only" has mobility issues... *grin* T.

Maybe, that's why they didn't have APS accreditation for their psych major, and did't get it until they dropped the cognitive psychology units. Buyer beware. WoofnHoof
Just because it's in the psychology department doesn't necessarily mean it's cognitive psychology. Sometimes fields get lumped in with what the university considers 'best fit', depends on the researcher's field rather than the department IME. Much of behavioural psychology has been debunked as well but in the dog and horse worlds they still rely very heavily on it, some people have made a very good living out of it. Well I read this and just 'guffaw.' Much of behavioural psychology has been debunked as well I seriously hope not especially when the APS grants accreditation to Clinical Psychologists who can receive $190 for a 20-50 min session and many treatment plans begin with a ten session program. but in the dog and horse worlds they still rely very heavily on it So it works for dogs and horses but not for other mammals like humans some people have made a very good living out of it I think you are confusing behavioural psychology with unregistered counselling and other ruses. It might have been edifying to begin with what Cognitive Psychology is and why it has been discredited. Regards Px
