Her Majesty Dogmad
I'm trying to help two whippet types that are in strife. They almost starved to death recently and are being helped at the moment but need to get to safety. Is anyone in the area that could help me with some photos etc? trifecta
Have a chat to Sally at Happy Paws Haven. Grafton is a couple of hours from Nambucca Heads, but maybe Sally has a contact there?
Her Majesty Dogmad
Thanks Trifecta, cheapest travel quote I've received is $250 and they are very small whippets.
Scallywags DOGrescue
What needs to be done to get them out to you asap?
Her Majesty Dogmad
They are at Nambucca Heads and need to get to Sydney at the weekend or just after. There is road and air transport as two options but expensive and I'm expecting they will need dentals as well as all the standard stuff such as desexing etc. I'm hoping we can get a lift either all or part of the way. We have just organised an "in house" chip in to cover the $250 transport costs to get those poor dogs under your wing. Her Majesty Dogmad
OMG Scallywags - thank you so much! We are pretty short of funds after a recent rescue has sadly been diagnosed with terminal cancer, it was most unexpected and distressing. We will be giving him palliative care in a wonderful foster home but it has left us short. I will pm you. Thank you is really not enough but thank you so much, we will acknowledge your help on our website when the boys arrive.
