RiverStar-Aura
What a lovely smart boy! How did you teach the bow command with that signal? I've almost got Zeus taking a bow but I have to bring my hand under his front legs and draw it back under him. As such he gets it confused with his "drop" signal
lovemesideways
What a lovely smart boy! How did you teach the bow command with that signal? I've almost got Zeus taking a bow but I have to bring my hand under his front legs and draw it back under him. As such he gets it confused with his "drop" signal I taught him like this Then I changed to being in front of him with that sweeping hand motion in front and the word, Then added in my own bow plus same hand signal and word. Then gradually took away the hand signal but kept the bow and word. In a nutshell. :D
RiverStar-Aura
That's a great video!! I started out with Zeus this way but I think I'll start from scratch again as he gets confused with drop. Thanks for posting the link. Riddick is now my fave trick dog to watch!! :D
Inka3095
Yaaaay thanks so much for the videos! My foster dog has learned everything I've asked her to do in such a short amount of time I've run out of trick ideas, so these are awesome!

lovemesideways
You should do DWD with him, he looks like a performer :) I love the jump trick how did you teach that? I think I wont let the world suffer the horror or seeing me try and do a DWD performance . The Jump trick started by just teaching him to jump up on something (a bed in my case), added a word and just transitioned it into leaping straight up. The key is to make sure they don't just land on their hind legs. (Awful for a dog to bounce straight up and land with all their weight on their hind legs! Makes me wince when I see that.) Lovely! Riddick is a beautiful boy and smart too! I'm inspired to try a few more tricks with Stevie. But how come you aren't slipping in a puddle of drool? Hes too busy doing stuff to drool! Esky the husky
Go on silly costumes and music, what's not to love about dancing! Do it
Katdogs
So I tried to do that step-over 'through' with Stevie and fell over  I forgot she's taller than my legs and would have to crawl through!
lovemesideways
So I tried to do that step-over 'through' with Stevie and fell over  I forgot she's taller than my legs and would have to crawl through! Im having this problem with my GSD, hes almost too tall now, but hes learning to duck. Thankfully I'm not male so the number of times hes collided with the wrong spot hasn't been terribly painful
Cleo's Corgwyn
You ought to see one of the teams who do DWD with us in Canberra - Di & Claude, the Irish Wolfhound! She has to basically do a can-can kick for him to do leg weaves. DWD is great fun, and you'd have an excellent start with those tricks, especially since he obviously has good hind end awareness... Poppy's mum
Well done - all things I have been trying to teach - well, mostly apart from some of the tricks. You must be a patient teacher! Nice to share your successes. Gorgeous dog too!
