I travelled 7 hours round trip to see a trainer on the w.end as there is nobody descent imo in our area. Was it worth the trouble? Hell yes. Wouldn't think twice about it if I have to re visit him. You might have to look further afield if there aren't any in your local area. I don't know that area very well as I have only driven through it. If it is for behavoural issues I have heard good things about Louise Rourke at Valley Vets in Wingham, and for general training I attend individual lessons with a trainer locally (near Gloucester) who specialises in training dogs to be assistance dogs, but does excellent training in what ever areas you would like Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I visited Steve Courtney, K9 PRO. Will see how we go but it is all looking very positive. I thought I had a very nervey girl but in his expert opinion I just have a frustrated high drive girl. Poor girl. I will follow Steve's training plan to the letter. Think my girl is going to take me on a huge learning curve. Can't wait & with Steve's help I think I am on the right track.
