Guest Ams
For me it is more about which two dogs would you mix. It's not always about breeds, its about individual dogs and making sure their personalities are compatible.
Staffyluv
I can't see how it can be a 'breed' thing.. Personally to me it is more a temperament thing. They all have their own personalities and quirks and it is up to us, as owners, to make sure that the house is a safe place for all the dogs that come not it.. Salukifan
Poodle - obedience, agility, flyball, canine freestyle. Two of mine will course!!! Whippet: There are obedience and agility whippets. Some will course a lure. Most will course a hare (but not allowed here) and of course, lounging. ;) Nothing lounges better than A Whippet.
Janba
Border Collies - everything They are not allowed to compete in earthdog or gundog trials but excel in obedience, agility, flyball, dances with dogs, herding etc. Dallies are also very versatile but you need a sense of humour with them. Esky the husky
Huskies: Sled dog racing ;) also weightpull and I have done some coursing with my girl :) Of course they can do well in other sports, but aren't the 'breed of choice' for say obedience ;)

voloclydes
i own 2x dallys in our licorce all sorts type of house... the dallies could fart for australia.... and win gold every time.... in fact this arvo we were going down the paddock and the stench was so bad we kicked the dog out to run after 2x farts. they seem to be good at anything you ask if it is asked with food... not sure tho that agility would be their thing tho leo frequently falls over goofy style. Kirty
Haha yes nothing lounges quite like a Greyhound. :) Greyhounds are good at racing and coursing. They can also do obedience and agility - but only if they feel like it. ;)

WreckitWhippet
If belching, farting and generally being obnoxious was a sport, the Stafford would win that one hands down. Naturally the Greyhound excels in the sport or racing. Most Sighthounds are very good at coursing and in general catching things.
