Kirislin
I went on a longish drive yesterday through Central Victoria. I haven't been over that way for years and just loved the almost 3 hr drive. I stopped when I saw these guys by the roadside. I cannot recall the last time I saw emus in the wild. kja
Neat! You need to come visit - dumb things are in the front yards and along the road almost every day LOL
Kirislin
really?! I think I could probably count on one hand the number of times I've seen them in the wild. It was a real treat for me.

CrazyCresties
Cool :D A friend at work who lives on one of the new developments on the northern outskirts of Perth, had one trotting down her road the other day!
Tralee
A big mob of roos/wallaby too. You've got the Coat of Arms there. I wonder who would win in a race betwen an Emu and a Kangaroo. Um-ba-da-lip-ida-da-da. Px
k9angel
Gorgeous pics Kirislin. When we were living in Manildra I used to love visiting the creek down near the flour mills to look at the platypus. They were fascinating little critters. I wish I had of taken some pics now, I took it for granted at the time because we lived so close and I could just go look for them when I pleased. We had plenty of roo's but never saw an emu out there.
