Michelleva
See a barking sheltie can be a good thing! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2106218/Real-life-Lassie-Dog-saves-pensioners-life-hears-dementia-sufferer-tapping-pipe-following-fall.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
LizT
Lovely story but what the hec are they calling him a "Collie Cross" for? Clearly a Sheltie. Edited March 10, 2012 by LizT
Janba
Lovely story but what the hec are they calling him a "Collie Cross" for? Clearly a Sheltie. Any dog doing something wrong can't possibly be the breed stated, despite looks or what is reported, without pedigree papers. Any dog doing something good is the breed it looks like. The dog could be a collie sheltie cross. (not aimed specifically at LizT) Regardless what a good dog and it is nice to hear positive dog stories in the news. Michelleva
The dog looks remarkably like my tri-coloured sheltie... albeit a lot fatter. Either way the doggy did good!

Simply Grand
I wish my Sheltie would put his barking to good use like Jack!! What a cutie :) I do think from the pics it's quite possible he's a Collie x Pom, or something else rather than a Sheltie, but who knows.

Is it even possible.. there's quite a size difference in those breeds.. its more likely to be a sheltie or sheltie cross IMO.
