WExtremeG Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 I guess this is only good if the rushing dog stops before he reaches you. Hasn't been the case for us 2/2 times. Ring the council if it happens again- dogs should be contained. This owner appeared to be in his garage with the dog loose.. clearly the dog doesn't listen as he was yelling and screaming for it to come back, it had no intentions of listening to him, it just kept running. I don't think it was being territorial, it just saw another dog and thought.. WOO HOO, lets play.. the problem isn't the dog, its the irresponsible owner. Thanks for the input everyone, it helps to hear others opinons on how to deal with this sort of situation. My reply (in bold) was in response to some of the other posters suggestions- anyhow, the dog is not being controlled and could be a safety risk to other dogs and motorist as well as obviously to itself.
