Allerzeit
Hi guys, I've posted about a male rotty in the non-urgent rescues who needs some help. He's being temporarily cared for at the moment by someone, but really can't stay where he is (no fencing, and person has cats - this dog isn't cat friendly). I think he needs to make his way into experienced foster care and be assessed if possible, but not sure who to contact in Tasmania to see if we can make this happen. Does anyone know of rescue contacts in Tasmania who we could have a talk to about our options? Thanks :)
Maddy
We can do temp care if he's dog-friendly and also temperament assessment if needed. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any rescues, besides the shelters. If he's not cat-friendly, Brightside is likely out of the question so really only leave The Dogs' Home if he can't be behaviour assessed/fostered interstate. The Dogs' Home are pretty good but if he has any issues, they do need to be upfront about it to ensure a potential problem isn't passed on to a new owner.
