I'm easily confused. Does this quote come in discussion of this post? What does it have to do with Americans (asked honestly as a dual Aus/USA citizen)? Or was it supposed to be funny? I don't get the joke. It's what the man in the background says in the clip. Aprilaire is a company with a range of appliances like air pruifiers, humidifiers etc. It's the dry air causing the static charge in the dogs coat, so he says to the girl we need to turn on the Aprilaire (which would be some kind of air conditioner) to put some moisture into the air. Why Tralee felt the need to comment on Americans using air conditioning I do not know It's not like they are the only people in the world to use it.
