heroeswit
I'm new to the show scene and I am just feeling my way at the moment. I have a White Swiss Shepherd. I am a larger woman and I don't feel comfortable in knee length skirts but longer skirts I'm fine with. I'm just wondering whether long time show people would recommend it or does it just look out of place? This is the Skirt I'm looking at with the matching jacket would it be out of place? Sheridan
Wouldn't you find it difficult to run in?
espinay2
1. Can you run in it? 2. When you run does it swish around much and get in the way of your dog? 3. If the ground in the ring is less than ideal (eg damp or muddy etc) will you still be able to run in it or will the bottom become a wet soggy muddy mess that flicks on your clean white dog? What about a pants suit? Perfectly acceptable. I have never worn a skirt in the ring. Short and dumpy + skirt is not a good look for me so I stick with long pants. You can always wear bike pants under your skirts?.. Least with your dog u can stack standing lol

heroeswit
thanks for your replies guys, I'm now going to stick to the pant suit but get that outfit for going out :)
Bjelkier
I would be worried I wouldn't be able to run fast enough without getting tangled or that the skirt would move to cover the dog. I agree with the others, if you don't like skirts wear a nice pants suit.
Dogsfevr
It is doable but if its windy it will blow everywhere,if you knell down to stack chances are you will stand on it getting up . Running should be easy with the flare out but if your a bouncy style runner it can swish in a odd manner
