Haha RS - nah - if Leo goes - he has to have a return to sender stamped on him!!

Benefits of a hot day is that you can grab some good shots of puppies for their weekly photos! One week old today and all growing strong!

Yup Saxonpup - that's little Oscar hugging his mum!

Well the pups coped considerably well in the heat this weekend and now it's wet and miserable, so hopefully they'll be a bit happier today.

Compared their current weights with the wieght of my last litter (one extra pup) and funnily enough, Kinta's first litter was fatter at this stage!! Only about a days difference though :).

These guys are going exceedingly well and getting oodles of socialisation and handling. Their mum is just awesome, and now their over-attentive Auntie who is allowed within the confines of the whelping box area now too (just not... IN it!).

As for their uncle Leo - Sorry mate - you have to wait a few more weeks

I don't know anything about what markings are desirable in Aussies, but I love PJs half white face!

LOL Haven, excess white isn't allowed as it's directly linked to deafness :(. So there's a reason behind the madness. In Aussies they are particularly fussy about where white is allowed as with the merle as well you have a higher incidence of pattern whites etc. We were surprised to get a mismark as daddy has minimal white and Kinta doesn't have *that* much

BUT having said that I've had 2 tri mismarks (one in each litter) and wow - they grow up to be something quite striking and pretty! I think PJ is following her big sisters footsteps and is going to grow up every bit as pretty as Panda. They really do make quite striking pets :D

First day back at work for me today :(. I'm trying to come home at lunch breaks to toilet and look after the pups, but have my friend coming tomorrow because I am assessing shelter dogs and I don't want to bring the germs home more often than necessary. I had to leave Kinta for 10hrs today too while I was at work due to the weather. The drive was so horrendous getting into work, I couldn't spare the 1.5hr round trip that it normally takes me to check up at home today. Luckily all were well and fine, though I do worry about them :o. Miss Kinta was NOT in her whelping area when I got home having jumped the baby gate. Lets hope she wasn't out for too long and if the puppies had cried for her she would have had motivation enough to jump back over!! Puppies were all fat, warm and happy when I checked on them though, so can't have been too bad!

So much for keeping her quiet following her surgery  She's incorrogable that one! Once she realises she can do something, she likes to do it as frequently as possible and problem is she's just too nimble!
