dogbesotted
LOST: MAREMMA LIVESTOCK GUARDIAN DOG - from Longford Victoria (near the Esso Gas Plant) "Dibbles" - must have ran off in all the thunder and lightening in the last storm we had here when we were out.. he was gone when we got home from town... he is usually so steady in storms, they never phase him...:-( I guess he is still missing his mate Razzo..(who we lost to snake bite last week) :-( we have looked all over our farm and asked all neighbours, contacted pound etc. so if any locals see or hear of a large white dog roaming and lost, he's ours :-( thanks posted on bahalf od a friend.. if sighted please contact me DOGBESOTTED Edited February 20, 2012 by dogbesotted
Erny
Sorry to hear this. Would your friend like to add a photo and perhaps we could add it, along with the information to FB? Or does your friend have Facebook where s/he could put up the info and we could 'share' it on our Walls/pages?

gwp4me
A large white dog should easily be spotted, he would be in a mess without his mate. Keep my fingers crossed for his safe return. Sorry to hear.

dogbesotted
yes he is fine and was very very happy when his owner arrived to take him home. On the other hand she says that it is wonderful to be hearing the full chorus of maremmas barking and that she did not think she would ever say that LOL H

On the other hand she says that it is wonderful to be hearing the full chorus of maremmas barking and that she did not think she would ever say that LOL H Funny how we miss the annoying stuff when they can't be had. I used to swear at all my clothes - even my going out ones, always having dog hair on them. Ate my words when I lost my girl and wished I could have had the problem back again instead of having her gone. I have the same hairy problem (although worse) now that I have my current boy, but there's no way I'm goin' to complain about it and mean it. We learn to be thankful. Congrats to the owner. What a blessing :D.
