ncarter
Im having someone housesit and look after my boy. Never really thought about exact quantities of how much i feed. The dog is 4.5kg, middle aged and still fairly active. Was thinking maybe a smallish third of a cup of Black Hawk (say 35gm) and 2 chicken necks per day. Does that sound about right? espinay2
I suggest taking note of what you are feeding for a few days so you get a better idea. Every dog is different and even some dogs of the same breed and same size will need different amounts.
GoldenGirl85
My 5kg JRT gets half a cup of BH a day, if she gets bones she doesn't get any kibble, she is also middle aged (10 years) and fairly active
stonecutter
My 5.5kg JS eats about 1/4 C kibble and a few chicken necks a day - we do a walk and playtime - she does spend a lot of time sleeping!
