redangel
I was there last month it was near 35 degrees and I near expired walking in the hothouses where the egyptian lillies are! Wonderful place...near 15acres! Lovely spot of a bit of lunch. Got shutterbug fever there I can tell you!
redangel
Love your shots Kirislin, very crisp. I think the rain add even more dimension to it. Wonderful! That lotus bud is simply awesome.

I went with the local camera club, perhaps it's worth thinking about a DOLer photography day there. Yeah those hot houses are pretty steamy and it wasn't even a hot day when I went there, I'd hate to imagine what it was like on a 35C day. Ugh! Marion 01
Love the pics Kirislin, Lotus are a gorgeous flower, but so are water lillies, so many colours. I see the ring in, and thought hmmm, an upside down lotus bud, no it's a banana flower.

Kirislin
thanks for looking. I can thoroughly recommend going, it's just lovely there, I'm in love with lotus flowers now. I bought a little mini one that is in a little bowl, but I'd love to put some in my dam, I'm just a bit nervous they'd take over and dry it out or simply smother it.
