Developmental Training For Singleton Pup

Is anyone aware of any developmental/play training that can be done with a singleton puppy aged 4 to 8 weeks please??

I have already been doing the suggested stimulations of placing on back, side, head down, head up plus the stimulation between the toes but I just have to try to introduce some play into the mix as this pup is missing out on the normal activity that occurs in a normal litter.

Does anyone have any information on the topic as I have tried searching the web but it mainly addresses issues from the birth to 3 weeks.

As it gets older I can of course play toys with it but I am looking for something now to try to stimulate it to get it to move more.

I had a singleton pup at the beginning of 2011 - we made sure he had contact with different dogs. I took the pup out and about with me to friends houses, especially those that had nice kids or little dogs. The pup was in our loungeroom from birth (as with all pups) and our older dogs would nuzzle and lick him. He had been growing into a huge pup, however once he started to move around more he trimmed off a bit and was looking more normal sized. The big dogs started playing with him when he was about 4 weeks old, rolling him over and encouraging him to jump and climb.

He also started to follow me around more which helped his physical development.

Dont worry too much, this pup is going on 12 months and is a beauty.
