sas
I have added: 'Novice' Rally Obedience signs with instructions on the back (PDF). This is the format my obedience club has them, thought it was a good idea having the instructions on the back so you can stop and check if you get confused: http://www.greatdanerescue.com.au/rallyo.htm
Tapua
If anyone is interested we think we have a sign stand designed that would be usefull to clubs it is an eisel design made from steel rog it folds flat and failry light and stack. Still working on a prototype as soon as its ready I will post it. I know some people are using witches hats but they are heavey and if you have a 3 ring trial expensive. We think we can fabricate them for about $15.00 each. They will stake into the ground and you can bull clip the sign to it. Which will prevent it falling over and the sign being blown off on a windy day. One question what hieght would people prefer a sign to be at off the ground? I was thinking we could make the eisel about 600mm allowing good visability. Any feedback would be great :)
angelsun
Thanks for that MEH, our set (for King Valley KC) has the instructions for each sign on the back and laminated...it really helps when you're working with signs you might not be overly familiar with in training and for those still new to the signs. DalGirl
Most of the signs are the same, but not all, so it's important to not download from the AKC site. I'm hoping that someone out there will have the 'smarts' to create a website that can be used to download signs....I've got the signs...large PDF versions or .doc but don't have the website to offer downloads, so have been burning them to disk and mailing out when asked. Gets expensive after a while and generosity only goes so far at the end of the week when payday isn't coming any closer! <img src='http://www.dolforums.com.au/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> For simple file sharing, try dropbox - it's free! www.dropbox.com I use it to share videos and pics with family and friends in the states. Works great. I was just about to go through the painful process of creating a file with the signs. Please let us know when/where we can get them! Cheers, Eileen
