Aziah
A prefix is such a personal thing, it should mean something to you, you have to like it, it doesn't really matter what other people think as one persons "stylish" won't be anothers. Thank you all! yes, I intend to breed only blacks but there is a chance to have salt & pepper as well as Bonnie,s father is s & p. I wouldn't go with a black only name ,you will not be able to breed solely blacks all the time so unless you plan to main reg only the blacks & limit the S/P or B/S i would go more universal. Many have gone on german theme s using beard in there , Decide how many letters you want & ease to prenounce. Our first prefix was solely for the Minis & impossible to pronounce & hard to remember ,we changed it when we added a new breed & much easier for people to remember plus covers all the colours ,we use blac in the show name if need be

becks
I would pick something that has meaning to you instead of what is just 'stylish' everyone has their own idea on that! Also is the written name easy to pronounce is you have never heard it before - or will you get upset if people say it wrong (some breeders do!!). Also worth thinking about keeping it short, so you have more space for each dogs name to follow.
