Kirislin
I've been going through some old photos, and I keep thinking, I should put these pics on DOL, so I've started taking photos of photos. Here's some. If anyone else wants to add their oldies please go for it. :D The first is Muffin using her mum Kibah as a bean bag. I had to rehome Muffin from her original family at about a year old and she now lives in my town, I see her regularly, she is now fat but well loved. Lolly, the only parti colour of the litter, and Chloe, who now lives in Queensland. Auntie Penny who was a bit of a worry at first when she saw the puppies, I think she thought they were food, but she obviously settled down enough for me to trust her. That's Feather she's with and the survivors, Kibah had 9 pups in total, one born dead and the other died the next day. They had a very shakey start but are all still alive and thriving almost 9 years later. I'll take some more photos today and add them.

Kirislin
Kibah and her daughter Lolly, the only parti colour she had. getting too big for the whelping box, ready to explore the big wide world. When Kibah and Penny were still buddies. When I first got Kibah I had high hopes of her sleeping in a cardboard box beside my bed. Even Penny liked it for a while. they used to be such good friends, until puberty hit I suppose, I cant really remember when things changed. k9angel
Love this thread. brings back memories. :) Here is one of my fav. old pics back when I was a kid. Dad took it using his canon slr camera. I am in the red dress sitting next to my brothers and a friend. I used to set up jumps for the dogs and get the neighbours kids to come along with their dogs and have competitions and pet shows. (the dogs pictured were ours, Bobby the poodle and Chang the pekinese). These were taken when I lived in Manildra. On a canon 35mm camera. (not slr) the pics are clearer/nicer in real life. These 2 taken at the cemetry. I used to love going up there and taking pics. The old piggery, now abandoned. The canola fields. Piggery creek. A few more to come. :)

Pictured with her daughter Cassie, also no longer with us. That's a big tree they're in. A storm coming. I had (still have) a fascination with taking pics of storms and rainbows. Gypsy and Claude My first horse, a mini named Mary legs. She was tiny and so sweet. Then I got my old mare Angel. I miss having a horse. This was taken the day I got her. I Can still smell it.... Love everyone's pics. That pic of Lady Cynthia and Pagan is gorgeous. I have a few really old pics (from 50's and earlier) that I picked up at a deceased estate a few years back. I will post a few shortly. I am not sure who the ppl are or where most of them were taken, but I just like looking at them. There is a couple of the dog on the tucker box in Gundagai taken in 1952. k9angel
I wonder what the population of Manildra is now, has it gone up or down since that photo was taken? I am not sure Kirislin. I'd say it has gone up a little. I know they have extended the flour mills. There is a lovely lady there named Marian Duncan. Oh my can she paint! she's an equine artist. http://www.maduncan.com/ I not only had the pleasure of meeting Marian and visiting her studio, but also went riding with her and got to ride one of her arab horses. She owns the old trotting track and was giving me free riding lessons! I could ride but lacked confidence. I will never forget when I was doing a lap of the trotting track, there was a stick on there that must of looked like a snake. The horse I was riding (one of hers) startled and almost hit the ground trying to get away. I was so proud because I managed to stay on.
