He commented that her skin seemed red on the bald patches and after some discussion we came to the conclusion . ..its my fault!!

I have been washing her with Malaseb shampoo and wasnt aware you had to dilute it prior to putting it on the dog.No real warning on the bottle so Ive been burning her twice a week and I didnt even know.

Don't beat yourself up about it - you didn't realise and you've done so much to help this dog out of a hell-hole.

I'd try using Calendula Tea Wash for this dog if it were me. A natural and effective soothing wash (not a shampoo - no need to rinse) that has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities. And it doesn't cost the earth - A packet from the Health Food Store is around $9.00 and lasts well enough.

But you've done well for her so far and good on you for rescuing a dog and steering her in the direction of a good home.

HI ALL,

Here are some updated pics of Pearl, she is such a happy girl she loves

playing ball and running around although in true bulldog form can't run

around for long!

We had her out this afternoon playing a game of ball with her and my other

bulldog the 2 smaller dogs just though it would be a good idea to hang in

the background

I must apoligise for the long feral grass in some of the shots we have had

2 weeks of non stop rain here and today was the 1st day of sunshine! we got

some mowing done but its to much to mow all at once ;)

I hope you all enjoy the pics of Pearl!
