Tassie
Congrats, murve - great effort for a tiny one. You could post over on the Phalene thread in the Breed sub-forumns.
Tassie
Double dipping here....but I'm so thrilled with my two becoming the first dogs in Tasmania to get DWD titles. Competed with them last night at Redlands and got 4 from 4 which finished their Starters titles in both Freestyle and HTM .. and Rory placed 3rd in FS and 1st in HTM , with Kirra 2nd. The Spotted Devil
We just arrived home from a lovely day of agility trialling in Bendigo - I drove there last night and camped as I couldn't face driving 2.5 hours this morning! Well run trial, a few catalogue hiccups but that was all fixed with a smile - great team of stewards Ziggy ran beautifully all day - I feel very spoilt. He tugged before and after every run, even in the presence of awesome jackpots, until he was released. A qually in each of Masters Jumping and Masters Agility plus a 2nd place qually in Open Jumping. Another ripper Open Agility run but he must have just missed the A-frame contact. Miss Em ran with more and more confidence and speed as the day progressed. I have held off tugging at trials but she let me know she was ready today by pinching Zig's tug and shaking the sh!t out of it  AD and JDX courses were really tough - no quallies for Em but she still picked up a 1st place and 2nd place. Some really nice work but a tipped bar here and there makes all the difference!
Tassie
Yay TSD sounds like an awesome day with both kids - at Em with Zig's tug - bless her. And sometimes a non-qually run can feel completely awesome - and is worth bottling anyway. Well donoe.
Sayreovi
Bit of a brag. We had a club comp today and Jovi came first in both novice agility and jumping. We did get a fault (I think I didn't check) in agility as I pulled her off a jump as I didn't set her up properly and she didn't see that one and ran past it so it was a refusal, but the jumping we went clear and we had speed and distance work as I was pushing her a bit instead of babying her. The agility course was nice but challenging enough for baby dogs (all but one other dog DQ) and she took all my directions beautifully, the jumping course was fairly straight forward with a few twists and turns and again she flew around. Very happy with her performance as we have our first proper comp next week so it was a good experience in a trial like environment, fingers crossed we can repeat the results.......she is extremely responsive so just gotta work on not giving a mixed/wrong signal Edited July 14, 2012 by tollersowned

ness
Finally a brag from me - given I have had Kenz out of action we have done bugger all in the way of trials this year in anything. Today I decided I'd give the old girl Ness a go with a tracking trial. We have barely managed to get out and train all season but we were fast running out of trials to enter so I thought I might as well give it a go. Well blow me away but the "old" girl did brilliant job ending up with not only passing her Track 2 but walking away with a "very good" rating to go with it. She was also best track under her judge for the day. Considering last night I said my heart wasn't in it and I really didn't want to bother going and wasn't sure she was 100% she did very well. Now to decide whether to enter the final trial for the year and see if she can get that remaining leg for her TD. Way to go Ness you have done me so well as a first performance dog and it only took us nearly 11 years to finally find a sport you excel in naturally . Not bad for my girl who will be 12 in a few months.
Ptolomy
Some good brags - well done TO and Jovi and good luck at the trial next weekend Ness you should be tickled pink. Made getting up with the sparrows well worth it and no reason why you should enter the last trial of the year.. Keep up the great work girls. ness
Thanks Ptolomy - yep sure did make getting up at the crack of dawn all the more worth while. And the dog who I had to set out a track for also passed so my reputation as a tracklayer is still sitting at a 100% pass rate .
