korbin13
Never tried beef necks, mainly because beef is the number 1 allergy prone meat for dogs and my maltese gets irritated when she has it. She loves the taste though. lol korbin13, have you tried searing it or just giving it to her raw? Just raw. Never thought of searing it....maybe I will give it a go. Must admit it does stink
Guest Augustine Approved
It took Augustine two months to switch to raw. Once a dog gets used to the smell of cooked meat it can be hard to switch them back. It's a battle of wills, eventually either dog or human will give in. Just a general statement anyway, not saying that roo is suitable or liked by every dog. If you are only feeding raw meat without vegies etc. expect the runs. It must be part of a balanced meal. Esky the husky
Esky was on raw before- but I had comments from a breeder that she was overweight and that I should feed a mix of kibble and raw. It so happened that that weekend I won more than 20kg of a really good brand of dry food. So I've been feeding since then. Now I'm down to my last container and I'll be switching back to raw. But I'm super super super paranoid about making it balanced so that I can show my research etc to whoever decides to question me about her diet.
